Connected people workshop @ Lift 10
When: Thursday May 6, 2010
Location: Geneva, Switzerland

Mobile Monday Switzerland workshop will bring mobility at the heart of the Lift10 conference addressing 1000 participants from 40 countries. This year's topic "
Connected People" explores the key aspect of innovation: people. Known as end-users, consumers, clients, participants, prosumers, citizens or activists, people ultimately define the success of all technological and entrepreneurial projects. We will discuss the following and other mobile topics :
- Communities : Web 2.0 celebrated the so-called "amateur revolution" and triggered the "Mobile Web". What did we learn in the past 5 years? How is the the mobile Web progressing and what are social / technical challenges ahead?
- Old new media : Newspapers are struggling, TV is not sure of what the future holds, Music consumption has moved away from the major record companies. What is the role of mobile media and entertainment in this new media space and how will mobile engage people?
- Evolution of privacy : what is privacy in the 21st Century? Is personal security threatened by the massive collection of data? How much will people share location, phone contacts and real-time messages.
