Q: I had/have a MobileMonday account with my former (Company-)Name (firstname.lastname@example.org). I cannot remember my password anymore, but I also cannot reset it, as I do not have access to my former @firma.com-adress. Can MobileMonday admins change my e-mail adress in the system?
A: NO, we fortunately can't - which is hopefully logical to you (laws, security protections, method of unique identification) and important for your own safety. The only thing we can do for you, is to delete your acount upon request. You can set up a new one afterwards. The new one will only be approved if the old one is deleted first.
IMPORTANT: If you cannot access the form as linked above and shown below, please mail to >>>> the
MoMo Website Creator and ensure, that the subject is "Delete my MoMo account" and add your old e-mail addressto it, before re-registering.

Q: Why do I need to register (Sign Up)?

b) book a seat for an event etc.
need to register. This is the only way for us to avoid broad spamming by certain, unwanted community members. We will only approve you by having a full name, and a company name or an URL or a valid mobile phone number. We will accept all registrations, where we see a clear interest in this community.
You need to do this esp. if you want to attend our events in Berlin, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg and Munich AND very important - if you want to get infos about upcoming events & topics as well as getting in contact with other MoMo Germany followers (event attendees)!!! We appreciate your understanding! Be aware: Our website gets indexed by Google. This also includes your profil image. WE, as MobileMonday cannot change or delete this on Google's site!

Q: How do I upload my pofile image?
A: Effective Feb. 11th, 2009 - every user who wants to book a seat for an MoMo avent, write a comment or blog post or join a group need to register and by doing so upload a digital picture of him/herself to ease networking at the event (company logos or other trademarks set as personal profile image will be removed without further notice) AND ease usage of this web presence. You need this if you want to attend our events in Berlin, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg and Munich! In case you need to change it (or do it after registration) please click on Settings in top right corner and you will find the Profile Photo in the 4th line in the first section Profile. We do also accept 'fancy images' but we do not accept trademarked images not owned by you, images of other person(s) than yourself, complete 'empty images' or 'white spaces'. For such profiles we keep the right to ban youfrom MobileMonday German's website!

Q: I registered (before September 15, 2008) but I am unable to sign in / log in anymore?
A: We moved our system. Frontend & Backend Database. We did not move (transfer) any personal registration data from the previous system. We apologize. Please be so kind & sign upagain.
Q: How do I reserve my seat for a MobileMonday eve or how to book an event?
A: Step 1: First of all, you need to be registered (signed up)!
Step 2: Go to your desired event (see screenshot below). You reach them via a) EVENTS or b) in the mid column of the website HOME. A second click might be necessary. On top to the left you find all necessary infos like Topic / Time / Location & MapInfos. Below under EVENT DESCRIPTION the details of the event, including speakers and event sponsor(s). On the top right your RSVP options. You see this kind of screen IF THE EVENT is ready to get booked (max. 4 weeks in advance of an event):
Click on Will attend. The screen gets refreshed and gives you a message. Read carefully step 3!
Step 3: After you clicked 'Will attend' you get a green message screen, that looks like this below.
Step 4 You need to click on the below right barcode icon outside the green area which wll bring you to the PicTicket area (more below).
Step 4: Create your entry ticket & badge that will be printed onsite.

Fill in everything needed for your entry. Your entry ticket is a 2D barcode either delivered by mobile or via e-mail as PDF. Your badge will be printed onsite.
You are ready to visit your desired MobileMonday event.

Q: I have attended an event, but where do I find some or all slides presented at this particular MobileMonday?
A: Go to the EVENTS tab and click on the sub-tab titled DOWNLOADS. All MobileMonday event summaries are grouped by cities and the last three ones featured on top. Once clicked on a city + an event the eventdate is again in the title (e.g. 080901_BERLIN_Mobile_Affiliate_Marketing equals YY 08 MM 09 DD 01 followed by city and (shortened) event title). BELOW the text is a section ATTACHMENTS. Here you find up to 3 downloads - sometimes bundled in one or more ZIP files.
Q: Is there a mobile version of MobileMonday Germany's website?
A: At this time only an iPhone & iPod Touch version is officially ready - you reach this via /m = http://www.mobile-monday.de/m on your iPhone
Q: What will happen with my data?
A: Our lawyer is currently in process of setting up terms & conditions and more, needed for MobileMonday Germany e.V.. Until this has finalized we follow the same rules as stated here (in German only and SN applies to www.mobile-monday.de ). However, we want to inform you, that our website is built upon www.mobile-monday.deNING and therefore we need to follow whatever their ToS are!

Q: Where can I find 'My Profile'?
A: It is NOW the second tab, named "MY PAGE" in the menu. You can fully customize it!
Q: Can I modify my page 'My Profile'?
A: Sure you can! To get an idea how much & more could be done have a look here.
Q: How can I contact another MobileMonday attendee?
A: Please visit her or his profile (e.g. from a profile image picture you saw or via Participate / All Members) and click on the shown image & name. On the left side you should see the 'Send a Message' link to start. You need to be an accepted friend for this.
Q: Why should I become 'A friend' of another MobileMonday attendee?
A: Once you have confirmed a friendship request you can send personal infos to all your MobileMonday friends at once, BUT of course you can cancel this friendship at any given time to stop receiving such e-mails AND we do not accept SPAM. If we as organizers get aware that you send more or less meaningless messages, send messages by far too often or just advertise on your own behalf you risk to get completly banned on this network. No exceptions!However, you are free to 'advertise' (yourself or your company) as much as you want on your personal profile page only.
Q: When contacting somebody, will she or he see my personal e-mail address?
A: No, your e-mail will not be shown. All such e-mails arrive as email@example.com
Q: I would like to start a discussion about a relevant mobile topic here - where to start?
A: Please go to EVENTS / GROUPS and found a group around your desired topic. Within your group several topics can be discussed. Be aware: MobileMonday mainly is an offline community so far. So, do not expect a huge participation rate at this time.

Q: How do I use the MoMo chat?
A: We have a (hidden) chat on this website too
You have several options:
- you see the amount of people currently online on the bottom of the website (in above sample: 18)
- click on grey area or arrow up to open small window
- click on double window to pop out chat (larger version in new browser window) (2)
- click on far right corner to go offline from chat
In case you did (2) you will see such a window:
- you can enlarge the window even further by dragging it from a corner
- enter your text in the bottom (left) field and press ENTER
- you can use some icons too (above text entry)
- you can and should enable sound and control volumne with the middle icon to hear if somebody sends a message!!!
- the option Clear Messages is to clear screen
- click on a member name right (here: "Corvin" to get access to either view her/his profile or start a private 1:1 conversation
- you can search for members and hide (Go Offline) here as well

Q: How can a follower leave the MobileMonday community?
A: When logged in go to settings (top right corner) and scroll down a bit. Here click on
"Leave MobileMonday Germany and delete personal profile"
