Contract Content Editor - Any Major City in Germany

My NYC based client is seeking a Contract Content Editor to work remotely in Germany (any major City.

The Content Editor will identify interesting pop-culture news and write engaging and succinct mobile news alerts. Scan and monitor news feeds for content ranging from celebrity gossip to sports to politics to entertainment in order to classify breaking news that will be of interest to our users. This position will need to write great headlines, be plugged in to pop-culture and current events, and be internet savvy, organized, and upbeat.

Requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Must be self-motivated and able to execute projects accurately and quickly.
- BA or equivalent 4 year degree
- Understanding of reporting, metrics and what works.
- Strong ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Thorough understanding of online trends, social media and the mobile industry
- Must have a computer with internet access
