When Mobile Monday Munich announced the Mobile Demo Night for June 4th, 2007 we had a lot of questions and doubts. Would there be enough presenters?

Would the presenters and the audience accept, that the presentation time is strictly limited to 5 minmutes plus max. 2 minutes Q&A and those just by the "judges"? And, and and.

After the event is before the event! We now know, that there is a true, creative potential in the market for a lot of such sessions! And the audience seemed to like this new format pretty much.

We had around 140 attendees and 14 selected presenters. Our MoC (Christian Ehl from Hillert & Co.) again did a great job! And 4 judges (Petra Maertens from Jamba!, Russell Buckley from AdMob, Daniel Melter from M-Squad and Harald Mueller from myTV.de) who tried to find out who could be the

winner(s) of this eve. At the end, everybody who did present was already a winner!

After 8 presentations we made a break, but as a big surprise all returned for the 2nd round with 6 more presenters! When Nikolaus Starzacher (#14) started his presentation with the remark, that he saw that eve already a lot of useful stuff, but he now presents stuff www.funruf.de that nobody really needs he got the full attention from the audience and the judges. But within his 5 minutes he demonstrated his service in a way, that even the judge from Jamba! (Love it or Hate it) was speechless. The only candidate, the judges had no further questions.

At the end, the voting by clapping came to a clear result with Nikolaus Starzacher (#13) as the winner, followed by #3 and #11 as second and third placed winners. But as said before - this eve everybody was a winner!

Due to the success of this eve, we will do another Mobile Demo Night in the second half of 2007, but limit the list to max. 10 presenters.
