While there's hardly any other place with as many companies working in the sector of Mobile content, advertising, development and services, Berlin suffers somewhat from its geographical distance to Germany's MNO headquarters. To bridge the gap, the next Berlin MoMo om March 2nd will be an "Operator barcamp". Representatives from the Content and Portal and Marketing teams of all German MNOs will convene in Berlin to showcase what's in stock for 2009 from their side and, at the same time, take in what Berlin's mobile scene is working on. For some Berlin mobile companies, this may be a first occasion to meet their MNO points of contact in persona instead of working through aggregators, while operators get in touch with both established players and newly-founded startups from Berlin's dynamic Mobile Internet industry. Definitely an event not to be missed. |
